tamtam

tamtam is a Berlin-based duo consisting of Sam Auinger and Hannes Strobl. Working primarily with audio, they have been exploring ‘urban living space’ through their work for the last ten years.

In their search for a new sonic language, where sound is fading in and out, always on the edge of disappearing, tamtam aim to create a new language of listening. While hearing tamtam’s work, the space between sounds is filled with the listener’s own experience.
