The Centre for Narrative Practice, is now opened as a co-working and cultural event space in Prishtina.

The former Hivzi Sylejmani Library was assigned by the Municipality of Prishtina to Manifesta 14. On the occasion of Manifesta 14 Prishtina, it was completely renovated and transformed into the Centre for Narrative Practice and became the central venue of Manifesta 14 Prishtina’s Artistic and Educational Programme. With the support of its partners, Manifesta 14 Prishtina has conceptualised and adapted the former library into a new interdisciplinary institution for co-working and co-creation of artistic, education, and community programming.

The space is open and free to use for creative people of different cultural and academic fields as a co-working and meeting space while external organisations are invited to use the space for their events and gatherings.

Here, you can review the facilities that we offer through the Centre for Narrative Practice.

The renovation and transformation process has been made possible by the generous financial support of the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. UNDP – United Nations Development Programme was Manifesta’s main partner in charge of the execution of the renovations. The continuation has been confirmed and will be led by the Foundation Manifesta 14 Prishtina, while the Centre stays in ownership of the Municipality of Prishtina.
