Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Manifesta and Kosovo’s Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports

On the 19th of May 2020, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo, represented by Minister Vlora Dumoshi and the director of Manifesta and Chair of Manifesta 14 Prishtina, Hedwig Fijen, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation via a zoom call, guaranteeing the budget made available for the development of a permanent intercultural institution in Prishtina in 2022. The initiating partners of Manifesta 14, the City of Prishtina and the Manifesta Foundation, are delighted that the Ministry of Culture is committing itself to the project of Manifesta 14 Prishtina and its legacy beyond the biennial.

The City of Prishtina has already fulfilled its obligations towards Manifesta 14, meaning that the project – after a delay of three months due to the coronavirus pandemic – can get started. Manifesta 14 hugely looks forward to working together with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo and the City of Prishtina.
